What is Coaching?

It’s a mind-opener. It’s a powerful, proven approach that brings deep self awareness.

AWARENESS = THE VITAL INGREDIENT FOR CHANGE

Awareness has huge transformational power because it means we can catch our thoughts. Why do I want to catch my thoughts?

Thoughts become feelings and feelings drive our behaviour. If we can catch those thoughts early on, we have the ability to alter our behaviour - which is why you are here - there is something in your life you want more or less of.

Instead of giving you all the answers, I will take you through a process where we will identify patterns in your thoughts and behaviours as well as look at the belief systems, values and habits that are impacting you from reaching your goals. From here it’s forward focussed, redefining the beliefs, mindset and actions required for you to be in total alignment with yourself and where you want to get to.

Having this internal alignment creates the perfect environment for transformation and lasting success.

I believe growth, self-discovery and meaningful change should be largely an inspiring adventure, not some endless gruelling trial. Life can be tough, change can be tougher, so let’s make this process feel nourishing, empowering, inspirational and as positive as we can.

At the root I believe you are resourceful and whole and I believe you hold the answers inside you, I’m just very good at helping you access them.

Life happens in little moments

Did you know that you forge a new neural pathway every time you do something new? Every time you repeat it you are reinforcing it, do this long enough and it becomes a new habit. Take a minute to think about how simple and powerful that sounds.

Why then, do you think so many of us struggle to elicit change? It’s because of all the ‘stuff’ that gets in the way. Our old thoughts, feelings, ideas and the fact that we don't have clarity on how to move forward and in some cases where we want to arrive. 

Coaching addresses this. Through a series of guided conversations, I enable clients to dig deep, discover and implement solutions to move towards their goals. These solutions, because they are intrinsic i.e. come from within you, are more likely to succeed and endure than solutions imposed externally.
